The season highlight was their participation in the Ulster Development Blitz in Mid Ulster Sports Arena in Cookstown. This was a great experience for the girls, pitting themselves against teams from all over Ulster, competing well with the best of them and doing themselves and the club proud. Notes:

*   Ballymartin GAC has set the date for this year’s Annual General Meeting for Sunday 6th December in the Club rooms on Pats Road.  All members are asked to attend.

*   Congratulations to Paddy, Frances, Stephen and Michelle.  We can only hope that the U-14 ‘C’ Championship winners will continue in the 2016 season to outperform their competition.  Last Wednesday in abysmal conditions in Clonduff, the girls took the stage and killed it!  A slow start… the girls just needed to get their footing in the wet conditions.  Teconnaught took the opening scores, but as Ballymartin got adjusted to the conditions, they acted like a runaway freight train, slowing gather momentum.  At the end of the first half Ballymartin 2-03 vs. 1-03 Teconnaught.  With the match resumed and Ballymartin playing with the driving wind and rain, the girls played some exceptional football; least forgetting some magnificent saves from Kirstin in goals.  Your always telling your players to take their points, but when your front line is as short of stature as the Ballymartin U-14’s, when ‘Wee’ abbey takes a shot on the goals you just can’t be happier.  The Ballymartin girls kept finding and taking their chances as they came.  Final score; Ballymartin 4-07 vs. 1-05 Teconnaught.  Commiserations to the Teconnaught girls who put on a great display and good luck to them next season.   The Ballymartin Joint Captains Erin Rogers and Taylor Poland were presented with Down Ladies Football U-14’C’ Championship Cup by Francis Rogan.  Well done to all team and their coaches.

*   Lotto Numbers for October 25th 2015 were; 6, 7, 13, 28.  NO Jackpot Winner.  Congratulations to the NINE tickets that matched 3 numbers, each winning £10: Mary Cunningham, Lesley Pue, Nan Byrne, Damien Cunningham, Mark Cousins, Raymond Forsythe, Mark Trimble, John Trimble & Gerry Gannon.  - If you’re NOT in, you CAN’T WIN.  Tickets are available from various local outlets including; Raffertys Garage, Dunnaman Shop, Cunningham’s Butcher and The Ballymartin Inn.   Next Week’s Lotto is a massive £12,800.

*   Congratulations to the Ballymartin Senior ladies and their fundraising efforts, with their successful BBQ on Sunday during the GAA All Ireland Final.  Thanks to everyone involved and to all who supported the ladies in their efforts?

*   The Ballymartin lads had a tough game last Friday when they travelled to Pairc Esler to take on their League rivals Loughinisland.  Ballymartin took the game to Loughinisland notching up the first point within 20 seconds.  This match was building up with tension as neither side was giving in.  With some 26 minutes gone in the first half, and a scuffle between two players in the mid-field area, the referee; Ciaran Mooney halted play and conferred with the side-line ref, then proceeded to the umpire for a conference.  This resulted in the issuing of a straight RED to a player that wasn’t involved with any obvious tussle that the majority of spectators “witnessed”.   This totally destroyed the game.  With Ballymartin a man down and trailing by two points; Ballymartin 0-03 vs. 0-05 Loughinisland, the Whites had to dig deep and they held the first half to a one point difference.  In the second half the Whites came out pumped knowing that they had to pander to the referee, whilst trying to find ground against the extra man.  As good as they could, the Ballymartin men fought tooth and nail, they kept Loughinisland at bay for some seven and half minutes before they blues could score.  At the same time the punishment the Ballymartin lads were suffering; it took them almost 15 minutes to put a point on their board.  The game that was stolen from the Ballymartin lads was drifting away.  They still didn’t give up fighting for every ball but were slowly running out of steam, with too many wides and several goal opportunities missed from both teams, the final whistle didn’t come soon enough.   Final score Ballymartin 0-07 vs. 1-12 Loughinisland.  Good luck to both; Loughinisland and An Riocht in the finals.

*   The Ballymartin Seniors host Tullylish on Saturday 3rd Oct 2015.  This is the final Division Two League match of the season for the Whites and the last barrier to a clean slate in the 2015 season.

*   The Eire Og U-16 lads had another great match last Thursday, when they met Burren for the replay of the previous week’s ‘DRAW’ after extra-time.  The Eire Og lads may be smaller in stature but the pack a punch to rival any team.  The first half was dragged out and the Eire Og lads were down by five points.  After the break they came out like bulls to the red flag.  Swiftly and decisively they picked away at Burren and after a couple of goals (with the Burren Umpire calling a ‘square-ball’), the Eire Og lads were up by seven points.  All their expenditure had its toll.  Tired legs and cramp setting in, both teams were giving 100%.  Burren came up the field and found the back of the net in injury time and with both teams spent Burren went home the victors.  This was a great display form both teams, culminating in 140 minutes of match play plus injury time.   Both teams did well to make the Semi-Finals.  Good luck to both Burren and Sabhal in the Finals.

*   In the South Down U-12 League - Group 5 - Last Sunday Ballyholland conceded their match against Eire Og and tonight (Wednesday 23rd), Eire Og pay a visit to Atticall with a 6:30 PM throw-in.

NOTES:

*   The Ballymartin Ladies will be holding a BBQ @ the Ballymartin Inn on the All Ireland Final Day.

*   The seniors took to the stage in Castlewellan GAC playing fields when the met with Saul GAC in the quarter Final of the Trocaire Down GAA Intermediate Football Championship, on Sunday past.  This contest started, along with a heavy interment mizzle of rain.  Within two minutes of the throw-in, both teams had a point on the board.  The pace had been set and this was looking to be a good match.  After fifteen minutes the game had become sluggish and one-sided, with Ballymartin always on the defence and Saul running with a goal and four to Ballymartin’s point.  The match had dragged out a bit with Ballymartin clawing back two scores before the half (Ballymartin 0-03 vs. 1-05 Saul).  With second half underway, Ballymartin came out with gusto.  Within two minutes another two points were up on the board, and they hadn’t finished.  Seven minutes gone and the Whites found the net and it was all square.  With the new found momentum the Whites stayed ahead and slowly sailed onward taking their scores and holding Saul at bay.  Into injury time and the dynamic Ryan O’Hare flicked the ball over the keeper into the path of Rory Phillips, who smashed it into the net (Ballymartin 2-10 vs. 1-08 Saul).  For the next three minutes Saul rallied to gain back some lost ground, but the Ballymartin lads held them at arm’s length.  Final score Ballymartin 2-11 vs. 1-09 Saul.

*   On Wednesday past South Down Reserve Football Leagues saw Ballymartin defeat the Drumgath lads by a point.  This puts the Ballymartin lads into third place in the League.

*   The Fegan Transport South Down Minor B Football Championship saw the Ballymartin lads loose out after a very physical second half against a strong Sabhal.  Final score Ballymartin 2-07 vs. 3-14 Sabhal.

*   On Thursday 10th September the Semi Final of the Fegan Transport South Down U16 B Football Championship was held in An Riocht.  Here Eire Óg played a very physical and demanding Burren team.  This turned out to be a great match of strength and endurance as the young lads played their 60 minutes of football, and the Óg’s believed they had victory had their hopes dashed.  A late break through from the Burren No. 9 Mid-fielder tore through the Defence and rattled the nets clinching a tie.  This meant two, ten minute halves of Extra Time were too played.  Tooth and nail, both teams scrambled from one goal-line to the other.  Several stops by the Referee; Brendan Rice, had to be made as players were dropping with cramp.  This great battle found the whistle and both teams distraught at the knowledge that a rematch was on the cards.  The Final score Eire Óg 5-17 vs. 6-14 Burren.  Rematch takes place on Thursday 17th Sep 2015 in An Riocht with 7:30 throw-in.

Notes:

*   The Club and Committee, would like to extend their gratitude to all those who took part in the REAL lifesaving event that unfolded after the final whistle, which saw Ballymartin go 14 and Zero, clinching the League Title and gaining promotion to the First Division.  In the throes of excitement, Ballymartin’s past President had heart complications.  And it is with thanks to the trained personnel from both Clubs and the spectators and players that got involved in the life saving task that unfolded.  To the quick thinking members who identified the situation and called for the An Riocht Club defibrillator be brought to the scene, which led to the recovery of Our Past President, Mr James Cunningham.  It is believed that ‘Big James’ was making his way to the pitch gate, to greet his winning Grandchildren of the Ballymartin team when he took ill.  Also thanks to the two female police officers that attended the scene with a defibrillator (they were glad to see one already in use), they also provided traffic control on the narrow roads whilst awaiting the arrival of the ambulance from Newcastle.  We would like to thank the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service Trust for the lifesaving service provided and one that rural communities desperately need.

*   The Club and Committee would like to extend their condolences to the family of Archie Marks who was buried during week in Glasdrumman.  Archie’s Grandchildren have played in several of teams over the years.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.  Mary, Queen of the Gaels, Pray for him.

*   The Seniors were on the road to Pairc Esler on Friday past where they met and defeated for the third time this season Carryduff.  This match started with Carryduff picking up four unanswered points with Ballymartin waiting till the ninth minute to slip one over the bar, this was quickly followed by a second point within 30 seconds.  By the 14th minute the Whites had pulled back to all square and then in the 15th min Ryan O’Hare filled the back of the net.  After 31 mins of play the Whites led 1-08 vs. 0-08. The second period started and both teams didn’t seem to have much in the tanks.  As they moved into the final quarter, Carryduff were trailing by a point… then they got their goal this put them ahead by two.  In the last 10 mins Ballymartin trailed by two (1-11 vs. 1-13).  With 5 to go, Ballymartin brought it back to evens; 1-13 apiece.  On the 30 minute Ballymartin were ahead by two and managed to maintain possession for the remaining two minutes of extra time to win their position in the Trocaire Intermediate Quarter Finals, which takes place in Castlewellan GAC, on Sunday 13th Sept with a 4:45PM throw-in, followed by Liatroim and Mayobridge @6.15PM.

*   The Trocaire Down GAA Intermediate Football Championship Round 2, saw the Ballymartin squad travel to Castlewellan to meet their League rivals.  This was a match up for grabs as both teams are joint-leaders within the Div2 League.  The first half saw Ballymartin plying up the hill, and come the half one could’ve been mistaken that this was the difference in the two teams with the score line @ Ballymartin 0-05 vs. 0-08 Loughinisland.  Within a couple of minutes of the restart, both teams had notched up another point.  Then the Blues stepped up a gear and dominated the pace and standards and took their points and a goal and drifted off into the sunset… Final score: Ballymartin 0-06  vs. 1-18  Loughinisland.  Next outting for the Whites is Fri 28 Aug. *   The U-12 girls took part in a very enjoyable tournament in Downpatrick last Saturday, competing against many different teams which challenged the girls. First up was Saul which Ballymartin won convincingly; 8-11 to 0-0. Next was a physical Saval team, where our girls rose to the challenge and won by 2-9 to 2-2.  The last group game was a close exciting encounter with the girls holding on for a 1-2 to 0-3 victory, to finish up top of the group and qualify for the Cup competition.  In the quarter finals of the Cup, Teconnaught were formidable opposition.  Ballymartin played strong football but failed to put the points on the score board and were beaten narrowly by 2-4 to 1-5. The girls were disappointed to exit the competition at this stage such is their appetite for the game, but they had an excellent day of football which will help develop them in the process.  Thanks to RGU Downpatrick for the invite and an excellent day's football.

Ballymartin Seniors are now 9 For 9 - The seniors travelled to Ballykinlar on Friday 03/07/15 to play Dromara in round 10 of ACFL Division II. The game was played in near perfect conditions with a slight breeze which Ballymartin played against in the first half. The Lilywhites dominated the opening exchanges and led by 5 in as many minutes through scorer in chief Ciaran O'Hare, Sean Hughes and Ryan O'Hare. Dromara were on the back-foot from the beginning but played manfully and Colm Kelly in particular took the fight to Ballymartin. The Dromara goalkeeper also had a magnificent opening half when he repelled wave after wave of Ballymartin attack. Dromara's efforts were rewarded with a goal from midfielder Kelly and added another two points before the end of the half. The Whites responded to this mini revival by adding a series of well worked scores finishing the half 0-13 to 1-02.
The second half opened with a Ballymartin goal from Ciaran O'Hare and the contest effectively ended. Ciarán added another from the penalty spot and Dromara responded with their only score of the half. The substitutes bench was used extensively in the 2nd half and each player to come in performed well fitting seamlessly into the side and contributing handsomely to the score-line. The Whites were best served in defence by Matthew Philips and Mark Whelan, Michael Cunningham at midfield and in the forward line by Ciaran and O'Hare, Rory Phillips and Cathal Doyle. Next up for the seniors is Darragh Cross on Sunday 26th of July.

The Minors were handed a victory in their last league game of the regular season as St Pats failed to show up on Tuesday night past. After registering 3 wins the Young Whites will now go into the Bottom five section of the League where they will play another four Games before the Championship. The lads will be looking to get all their boys back from Holidays and then work hard to get themselves ready for the remainder of the season.

The South Down U-16 League sees the Eire Óg lads a tough  match away to Ballyholland last week where the home team were too strong for the young Og's. Due to the holidays  - the scheduled match this week has been postponed.

*   The Seniors had a great match last Friday when the lads travel to Cherryvale to take on Bredagh.  The lads played some hard football against a very big and strong Bredagh.  We all hope that young Matthew Phillips recovers from his facial wound that required six stitches to close-up.  There notable play from Ciaran O’Hare and a dashing goal from Noel Kerr.  Final score; Bredagh 0-10 vs. 1-09 Ballymartin.  A match had been planned for Sunday but this cancelled due to the Lower Mourne Clergy holding Cemetery Sunday in both St Joseph’s Ballymartin and St. Marys Glasdrumman.  The Ballymartin Seniors will hosta match tonight (Wednesday 17 June), at Pats Road against St John's Drumnaquoile.  Throw-in 7:30.  The next outting for Ballymartin Seniors will be Friday 3rd Jul @7:30 PM Venue: Ballykinlar; Dromara vs Ballymartin, with the Referee: Gabriel Tumilty.

*   In the South Down RFL the Ballymartin lads had no match last week, the next match is set for an away match to Glenn on Sunday 21 June.

*   This Tuesday 16th Jun in the South Down Minor Football League @ 7:30 PM Ballymartin will be hosting Drumgath with Referee: Kieran Trainor.

*   The U-16 lads are away to Sabhal tomorrow night, with Fearghal Laverty officiating the 7:30 PM throw-in against Eire Og.

Remember to bring a gum shield!  After a break last week it was a home fixture for the Eire Og U-12s on Sunday morning against Longstone. Despite some great spells of football from Eire Og it was the visitors who were winners on the day.  Training continues on Wednesday evenings at the quarter road pitch from 6pm until 7.30pm. We are waiting on confirmation as to whether or not our game on Sunday morning is going ahead and this will be confirmed at training on Wednesday evening.  Our postponed game against Drumgath will take place on Tuesday 23rd June at 7.30pm.  Travel arrangements will be given at training.

*   After being on the road for so long, the U-12 girls had a home game against Clonduff last Wednesday evening. On a lovely sunny evening the girls played some magnificent passing football to run out comfortable winners with final score line Ballymartin 3-09 vs. 1-02 Clonduff.  The 2nd game allowed the younger girls to show off their skills in a very sporting manner.  The girls have a bye tonight and travel to Saval next week.  Training continues each Monday evening.

*    The U-10s (P5s and P6s) participated in the Jim Mulholland Cup and Shield in the Kingdom on Saturday morning as Eire Óg.  This was the 1st time that these young players amalgamated and anyone looking on would have thought they had been playing together on a regular basis, so good was the football and team work on display.  After great performances in the group stages the Eire Óg’s progressed into the shield competition where they faced Balinteer, St Johns, Co Dublin in the quarter final.  This was a tough draw for the young Eire Óg’s, nevertheless, they gave their all right to the final whistle and were deserved winners.  The semi-final was next and it was to be the last game of the day as Keady proved too strong.  The results speak for themselves, out of 32 teams, to end up in the last 4 of the shield was a brilliant achievement.  Well done boys and girls.

*   The South Down RFL Round 3 match for Ballymartin sets them on the road to play Newry Shamrocks on Sunday 3 May with a 2PM throw-in.

*   The Minors hosted Glenn last week and the Newry team proved very strong opposition.  Ballymartin started brightly but Glenn took control and dominated for Most of the Game.  It was hard on the young whites who will be looking to bounce back this week away to another Newry team when they travel to Bosco.  In defence Geoffrey Greene and Conor Cunningham defended hard up against dangerous forwards, while the Midfield of James Cunningham and Ethan Smyth fought till the end.  Up front Niall Quinn had a brilliant performance, showed well and ended up with a good tally including 0-06 from frees.  After training this week the boys have got back to basics and are working hard to make amends from this result.  This Tuesday the lads travel to St John Bosco for a 7:15 PM throw-in.

*   The U-16 League saw the Eire Og lads in another tough battle, this time against Atticall.  This was a tough game for the lads who were five men out with injuries.  Eire Óg fought on to the end and gave a good account of themselves.  Tomorrow night the lads host Longstone @ Pats Road, Referee: Neill Cousins, with a 7:15 throw-in.

*   The U-14 League saw Eire Óg travel to Tullylish last Friday 24th April, after an epic battle the lads fell short and lost by two points.  Tullylish 3-09 Eire Og 3-07.  Yesterday the lads hosted Saval with Brendan Rice officiating.

The next outting is set as an away game to Saul on Sunday 24 May.

*   The U-12 League has the Eire Óg squad scoot up the road on Sunday morning to meet Longstone @ the Valley Road with an 11AM throw-in.  Normal training continues on Wednesday from 6 – 7:30PM at the Quarter Road Pitch

*   The U-10s started their Mourne League campaign on Monday Night away To Glasdrumman.  The young whites had a great turnout and it was great to see them enjoying themselves in their first competitive match.  All the boys and girls put in a great effort; with Thomas Higgins and Eoghan Smyth playing extremely hard in the first half, then Nathan Buckley had a great second half along with Abby O Hare and Kerry Hanna putting in some great tackles in the defence and then Owen McCartan scored the Goal of the night with an effort that wouldn't have looked out of place in Croke Park on Sunday.  In the end the Glasdrumman boys got the victory.  The boys and girls had a great training session on Saturday and played their second league match at home against Longstone - their first home game.  Training for U-6/U-8 and U-10s takes place on Saturday at 3pm at Ballymartin.  Next Monday (4th of May), the U-10 team have a bye.

*   The U-12 girls had a home match against Saval last Wednesday evening.  From the off, the home side dominated in all areas and run up a half time lead of 2-05 v 0-01, with some strong play from the midfielders and forwards.  The second half saw our backs and goalie on top once again, breaking down any scoring chances from the opponents.  Numerous subs were used and all equipped themselves very well.  Overall this was a very strong performance from Ballymartin's young girls, running out with a 4-10 to 0-02 victory. The second game saw the younger players take to the field and show what they were made off.  This was a very enjoyable and even contest lending itself to player development for the future.  There is no game tonight (Wednesday), but is replaced with training at Pat's Rd at 6.15pm. Any and ALL New faces are very welcome.   The following Wednesday the girls are away to Warrenpoint.

BALLYMARTIN GAC Club Notes

*   On Wednesday night (15th April), in Clonduff the Ballymartin Reserves took to the field with pride in their jersey and fought tooth and nail against a strong Burren squad.  At the half Ballymartin were ahead 1-07 vs. 0-06.  This lead was not going to be compromised as the strong right foot of Connor Fitzpatrick knocked over all but one the frees awarded.  The lads finished with a two point victory; Ballymartin 1-14 vs. 0-12 Burren.  On Sunday 19th the Reserves had a replay of the Fr. Davies Final when they travelled to Burren for the South Down R.F.L first round. Well the Ballymartin lads didn’t let the Fr. Davies win go as a lucky run, as they came out gates flying and never dropped a gear throughout.  The final score: Burren 0-11 vs. 3-17 Ballymartin.  Next Sunday the lads host Mayobridge with a 2PM throw-in.

*   The Ballymartin Minors on Tuesday (14th April), headed away to Mitchels to play Atticall in the South Down Minor League, this turned out to be an adventurous start for the lads who went on to a comfortable win: Atticall 2-08 vs. 4-09 Ballymartin.  Yesterday the lads hosted Glen.  Next Tuesday they are away to St John Bosco with a 7:15 PM throw-in.

*   The South Down U-16 League saw the Eire Og lads in a tough battle against An Riocht on Thursday 16th April.  This was a tough game for the lads and their young Coach Shaun Harper.  Despite the score line, Eire Óg fought on to the end or at least till the ambulance was called for, when Ryan Higgins took a bad knock, leaving him out of action for the next four weeks.  We all wish him a speedy recovery.  Tomorrow night the lads host Mitchels @ Pats Road.

*   The South Down U-14 League saw Eire Óg battle against local rivals An Riocht last week, with the young Eire Óg’s going to the half all square with 6-03 vs. 3-12 An Riocht.  The match continued at more subdued pace in the second half, with Eire Óg looking for the goals while An Riocht kept up the tally on points.  This was a great performance from both teams.  A late, yet questionable penalty was handed to and scored by An Riocht in the last minute of play which took the wind out of Eire Óg’s sails and saw the game finish: Eire Óg 8-05 vs. 4-17 An Ríocht.  Eire Óg’s next game has switched and they now travel to Tullylish this Friday 24th April for a 7pm throw-in.  The following outting will be at home to Longstone on 4 May.

*   The South Down U-12 League for the Eire Óg squad had a great match against Drumgath on Sunday morning.  A tough battle with sad outcome for Eire Óg 0-08 vs. 2-06 Drumgath.  The next match is away to Longstone in the Valley Road pitch with an 11AM throw-in.  Normal training continues on Wednesday from 6 – 7:30PM at the Quarter Road Pitch

*   The Ballymartin U-6/8/10 training continues on Saturday in Ballymartin’s Pats Road, at 10am.   The U-10's had their first game in the Mourne League on Monday away to Glasdrumman, and we hope to have a report for next week.   On Monday the 27th of April Ballymartin U-10’s have a home match against Longstone, further details will be given at training.

*   The U-12 girls travelled to Clonduff last Wednesday evening and played out a very competitive yet sporting match against strong opposition.  The first half saw our forwards Nadine, Shannagh, Anna and Brogan dominate the play, taking some great scores to lead at half time by 2-05 vs. 0-03.  The second half was more of a battle and our goalie Gemma kept the girls in the game with some brilliant saves and excellent kick outs.  As usual our backs; Amy Higgins, Eve, Kerry, Amy Clarke and new appointee Eimear were all outstanding.  The midfielders Orla and Amy worked tirelessly throughout adding some great scores themselves; to give a final score of 3-06 v 1-04 to the Whites.  The second game saw the younger girls take to the field and display some good football played with great enthusiasm and enjoyment.  Thanks to Clonduff for two great entertaining games and thanks to the parents for showing up and giving support to our girls on the road.  Training continues each Monday evening and the girls are at home to Saval tonight - Wednesday at 7.15pm.

*   A big UP to the Ballymartin U-16 girls who gave a monstrous performance against a strong Castlewellan side on Sunday evening.  This was with-out a doubt the girls most rewarding performance, were each and every player gave their all, allowing them to bask in the glory of a win that really counted.  As the girls put in so much effort it was good to see the coaches speechless in awe of the hard and heavy work-rate of the players.  Final scoreCastlewellan 7-09 vs. 7-13 Ballymartin.

*   The Intermediate Ladies League has Ballymartin on the road this Saturday 25 April for Round 2 of the league when the play Burren @ 7PM.

*   Lotto Numbers for Sunday 19th April2015 were; 09, 11, 20, 28.  NO Jackpot Winner.  Congratulation to the TEN lucky tickets that matched three numbers;Michael Morgan, Colin Cunningham & Family, Christopher Cunningham, Eddie Mc Govern, Bill Mc Govern, Camilla Zimmermann, Ann Grimes, P Mc Veigh, Rory Mason and Leo Rooney.  If you’re NOT in, you CAN’T WIN.

*   Another date for the diary PLEASE… is tomorrow evening; Thursday 12th Feb 8pm, for anyone interested in helping out with the underage teams.  We would greatly appreciate any help and assistance from ‘Our Parents’ whom might have an hour or two each week or every other week - for coaching, assistance, preparation etc.... It would be great to get outdoors and exercise a little with the young-ones!  There are numerous tasks (during a coaching session), that when spread out over 3 or 4 helpers makes the coaches task much easier and benefits our young players with more coaching time.  Please don't be shy, if you have a willingness to help but don't want to step forward PLEASE DO!  Also if the parents could encourage their children to skip the gaming machines for an evening and go kick the ball about with their friends at Pats Road, - a little exercise and comradery goes along way.  Training, coaching and vetting can be arranged for ALL those interested in working with our youth players.
